Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

I have to admit in the past month I have become a little bit of a foundation fiend. There have been so many new launches recently from both high-end and drugstore that I have been so excited to try.  Two of the main high-end launches that have been on my radar since their preorder date are the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation and the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. I have done an in-depth review video on both of these foundations applying them and I have also done a direct comparison between the two all of which are on my youtube channel
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChbr03dSrPArB_hpyYS5CRQ. But I thought I would do a blog post too incase you guys have not had time to see the video yet.

These foundations do have a lot I'm common, not only in their price and packaging but also what they aim to do and the finish they give. With this being said it can be quite hard to justify buying both unless of course you are like me and are a self confessed foundation junkie.

So this post is going to focus on the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, if you want to read my post on the magic foundation you can click this link http://natashasummers.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/charlotte-tilbury-magic-foundation-like.html

So lets review the packaging, this foundation comes in a lovely soft pink box which is filled with stats and text explaining the finish and aims of the foundation along with the ingredients contained and also some feedback figures they have. The packaging is not my favourite in terms of the box but the bottle makes up for it...and it is still nice it's just not my particular taste...but I can live with it.

This foundation is meant to give medium to full coverage whilst moisurising the skin and bluring out imperfections. It does give me a really youthful glow and fantastic coverage with one pump which is pretty much unheard of for me as normally I would need a concealer on top. The texture is very light and buildable it is also oil free which gives it a smooth yet light texture, this makes it comfortable to wear as it doesn't feel tacky or cakey.
The coconut water it contains really helps to refuel and hydrate the skin and in term this makes it look more plum and healthy.

As you can see from the picture it is a prefect match for my skin tone and the foundation looks virtually undetectable...it just looks like skin which is amazing because I definitely was not born this way. It evens out skin tone and discolouration and makes pores more or less invisible. It also has a fantastic shade selection consisting of warm and cool tones which is a bonus.

This foundation also comes with a pump which is great as most high-end foundations fail to do so. This is super convenient and makes application a lot easier.
I find that this foundation applies really well and blends into skin seamlessly for a more naturally radiant finish.

It comes in a frosted glass bottle and feels really well made. I love this packaging as it is minimalist which really appeals to me. It is quite heavy and chunky so not ideal for travel but I rarely take full sized products with me anyway.

The foundation retails for £29 which I thinks is a fair price as a little bit goes a long way. If your interested in my shade it is Warm Beige.
