Bourjois City Radiance Foundation & Radiance Reveal Concealer | The Perfect Pair

The Bourjois City Radiance Foundation & Radiance Reveal Concealer launch were on my radar from the get go! as soon as they hit the shelf in Boots I picked them up. The packaging is lovely -very minimal and easy on they eye, I especially love the packaging for the concealer as it looks really premium and much more expensive than it actually is which is always a bonus right???

This is a range that really focuses on giving you a nice heathy glow whilst aiming to provide you with coverage and longevity as you need it....So with that being said here are my thoughts!

Lets start with the foundation, it claims to give you a flawless and radiant base whilst providing you with SPF 30 which is ideal as we are heading into warmer months. It also promises to shield you from the pollution in the air (is that even a thing?) it also says it has radiance boosting ingredients & let's be frank who doesn't want those? You guys know my signature complexion to rock is a dewy, fresh faced glow so I had high, high hopes for this base!

I would definitely say this foundation does give you a lovely unified yet radiant complexion. The texture is very light and creamy and it blends and seeps into the skin really nicely.  It does give me a much brighter appearance so the radiance boosting ingredients are definitely apparent.

My skin always looks like I have had a ton of sleep and drank buckets of water when really I am more likely to have been eating cupcakes and guzzling down diet coke (sorry mum) My complexion always looks miles healthier when I opt for this base.

I also think it helps my skin to look more youthful and refreshed, if you have mature or dry skin I think this could work for you too as it is very hydrating and doesn't gather in any fine lines, but if you are like me and have oily to combination skin it hydrates without creating excess oil or shine.

In terms of the consistency I would say it is very light and it doesn't drag across the skin or feel cakey or heavy. In my opinion it has a BB Cream appeal to it as the formula is not as heavy as typical foundations can be.

The coverage does let it down slightly and I would definitely say it is more of a light to medium coverage. It will tackle a little redness and at a push that odd pesky blemish but anything more severe and I would say this is not the one I would choose. However if you have nothing to heavy going on and you just want to wash a bit of added coverage and a bit more balance to your complexion then this is a winner.

It is also very similar to a much higher end foundation I have talked about recently so  make sure you are subscribed to my channel to hear a more in depth comparison to the Chanel Les Beiges Foundation when it is live. It's not the longest lasting foundation I have used but I would say you would get a standard 9-5 working day out of it, especially if you top things off with the Radiance Reveal Concealer.

The concealer for me is definitely the star product of the launch, not only is the packaging ultra luxe but it's staying power, coverage and performance are nothing short of fantastic. I have included this concealer in a couple of monthly favourite videos and it's still a holy grail for me so far.

The texture is like a cream cashmere, it's so soft and blendable & it just melts into your skin and provides a wash or perfection. It covers under eye circles like a dream and really does minimise any blue, green & purple undertones. It also makes for a fantastic eyeshadow primer!

I wouldn't necessarily use his concealer to banish any blemishes or deal with redness as it has a lot of radiance to it but in terms of brightening things up and drawing focus this is incredible. It also doesn't  gather in fine lines or crease and for me it's pretty much the perfect radiant concealer.

Big Love Guys!
