" Love Me Beauty....THE SEPTEMBER EDIT | Feat KAT VON D | Natasha Summer

Friday, 7 October 2016

Love Me Beauty is a beauty box subscription service that I have been associated with for a long time. and it really is the best subscription of it's kind in my opinion. I'm always so impressed with the products they send out, the sizes, brands and the overall aesthetics of the website.

Each month they send box or sometimes a bag with a selection of seasonally current products that are cult in the beauty and skincare world. I have had products from brands like Nuxe,Caudalie,Cailyn, Magic Organic Apothecary,Vita Liberate and that's just to name a few so it really is a great selection of brands along with smaller ones that are up and coming in the beauty community.

Another great feature about this subscription is that you pay for credits and then you can shop the site so you avoid any surprise or disappointment. This is ideal for people who are worried about the lack of control you have with other beauty boxes and making sure you get value for money, a lot of the time you get lumped with the same generic products as everyone else which is less than ideal as the products may not be geared toward you.

I have discovered some of my favourite brands through this subscription and many of the products have gone on to become holy grails in my collection. The Magic Organic Apothecary Green Bath Potion and the Cailyn Liquid Matte Lipsticks have actually featured in numerous monthly favourites videos and both are from brands I do not think I would have discovered if it had not been for LMB.

The P.R woman I deal with (Ruth Halls) is so lovely and keeps me up to date with all he press releases, products and themes which is super cool as it helps when I do my unboxing videos on my Youtube Channel, which I do every month you can click here to see my LMB Playlist. Check these videos out if you want a flavour of what LMB offers.

This month was super exciting because LMB launched The September Edit and collaborated with some truly awesome brands.

Here is what I got.....

First off the bags they send are just so 'Instagramable' and this month was no exception with this really cool, textured Aztec design. Its really minimalistic and fits loads in. I have had some really cool bags from them in the past all varying in colour, slogans, designs and sizes. The colour themes tend to be quite monochrome, black, grey and white which is more than fine with me.

One of the brands from this months edit was one I am very familiar with especially when it comes to the Autumn & Winter months. Aromatherapy Associates specialise in luxury bath and shower oils that target so many physical and psychological ailments.

Their range is not the cheapest but it one of the best and the brand is a firm favourite among bloggers and serial bathers.

They also dabble in facial skincare and I was sent the Hydrating Renewing Rose Cleanser & the Rose Skin Tonic. Both are very refreshing and uplifting, the cleanser is rich and silky and removes every trace of makeup. It leaves my skin feeling like it has drunk 10 glasses of water and makes it look brighter, more plump and in overall better condition.

The Skin Tonic is such a pleasure to use, it balances my skin and leaves it feeling refreshed and hydrated. Skin Tonics are becoming SO popular at the moment so it is nice to try some from a more premium brand.

They are both 30ml samples so great sizes to give the products a substantial try.

The next couple of products come from a brand that I haven't heard of before, which is another reason why I love this subscription as you get the optional opportunity to try something new.  Ormorovicza is another luxury, high-end skincare brand that specialises in giving people a clearer, brighter and more balanced complexion.

First off the packaging really does speak for itself, 2 deluxe samples in frosted glass jars give it that clean and again 'Instagramable' appeal.

I got a facial mask and a cleansing balm, both of which I am yet to try but I will keep you posted with how I get on with them.

And Finally the launch that has been on every bloggers radar for the last six months, Kat Von D Beauty. This range launched in the UK literally days ago, so they are very much new and exciting products that every beauty junkie wants to get their hands on.

I got three products from Kat's range, which are actually part of a set that has launched in Debenhams with a three minis.

The Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks were something I really wanted to try, they are gorgeous matte lipsticks that come in a great selection of colours. I got a red shade called Outlaw which is ideal for the colder months.

I also got a Studded Kiss Lipstick which I LOVE the packaging of, the only thing is I do not suit the colour I was sent but the formula and texture feels really gorgeous.
Sadly is is something I am going to part ways with so check out my Depop if you're interested.

The final product was the Ink Liner, this is a pure black felt tip liner that once on doesn't budge unless you use an oil. It is a very authentic black and has no blue or brown undertone and I really like it. It is perfect for creating that fine winged tip and also a more dramatic cat eye.....very nice indeed!

So that wraps up the September Edit, I am so happy with all the products and have discovered some real gems this month.

Big Love
